This lamp runs entirely on 5v from the ESP32. So, it only needs a single USB cable to power the build. I think you should be able to get away with not using a separate power supply due to the relatively small number of LEDs. It's possible to put two strips of LEDs into the LED channels if you are looking for something really bright. But even then, I believe it is below the necessary limit for a separate power supply.
WLED integrates nicely with Home Assistant / Haas.io, which is what I'm doing.
As you can see from the BOM below and the amount of filament this takes (~1.4 kg) the cost of this build can add up. So, it's really only cost-effective if you are planning to make more than one of these lamps or have another use for the leftover parts. Otherwise, you may want to consider just buying one of the many already-made ones available on the market. I wanted one with lights on both sides, which is why I designed my own. However, I'm sure if you have a better printer than I do (Ender 3 Max) you can print it much faster than my g-code files indicate.
Some of the parts below are optional, but necessary if you want to make the entire build solderless. If you can solder feel free to skip those parts if you wish. However, I find the WAGO lever nuts and the JST connectors add some nice flexibility and simplify the build. Please note that if you use the solderless LED strip connectors you will sacrifice space for 1 LED on each strip. So, you will only have 59 on each instead of 60.
