It's a representation of the universe! It has a wormhole that the ball can go through, and in the right lighting, it looks like the ball teleports since you can't really see it in the dark.
Works best vertically
You do have to push it pretty hard if you are doing it horizontally and you cant really throw it in there since its small.
The ball resembles a star so you can do that in a yellow
Here some recommendations:Ball - yellow, requires minimal grid supports at the bottom.
universe… - sparkly blue (as in the photos), paint tree supports on most of the buttom and a little bit into the holes. You cant reach the back of the holes with most pliers, so I wouldnt put supports there. If you just paint supports until it starts to turn then it should be fine. The back prints fine without supports.
I would print slowly for the first 5 layers if you do sparkly filament, as it doesn't really want to stick (on a Bambu lab x1 carbon anyway) on the plate, so I would slow it down.
Make sure to scale each part up if you do scale them up, though I wouldn't as it would take a lot of filament and might be harder to print. Dont worry about the big overhands on the inside of the pipe, a few supports at the front of the pipes will do it perfectly fine.
If you would like to sand the inside of the pipe, that would really help the ball go through better.
Have fun! This is kind of fun to play with.
