This is a first version - prototype of backbox leveling and positioning tool for installing 3 individual electrical sockets/switches next to eachother without any space between themselves. The level can be checked by placing a spirit level to the top of this tool.
The spacing of screws between backboxes is 25mm and needs to be verified before plastering the sockets into the wall. There are 2mm spacers which will push the backbox deeper inside the wall - this is to avoid the backbox to stick out by accident (when mounting using expandable foam).
I use PET-G for printing as it is easily cleaned after use and can be reused after each set of backboxes are fixed.
Printing Instructions:
Print from any material you like (PLA/PETG), PETG is recommended for durability and easier cleaning
Infill: 25% or more (50% for V2 light version)
Perimeters: 2 - absolute minimum, 3 recommended
No supports nor bridging neccessary
Brim is generally not needed
Update 2026:
V2 (light) - added holes for material reduction
2 socket version added
