A case for 2x 18500 Li-Ion batteries with slots where an optional metal strip can be inserted to connect the terminals to either create 2P or 2S configuration - or without any connection, the batteries can be used individually.

Since I didn't have any springs or spring steel, I simply used the next best thing I could find to reliably connect the terminals - nuts and screws.

All you need to make it work (appart from a 3D printer and filament) is:

  • 4x M4 nut
  • 4x M4x10 screw
  • 1x 15x8x0.15 mm Nickle strip (optional)

Insert the Nickle strip before you insert the nuts. The nuts should have a snug fit by design - you might want to use parallel-jaw pliers to press them into place.
