This is like your bog standard thumb but better because it can extend. This is a fun fidget toy in the form of a thumb!

Recommended Printing settings:
I printed everything with a brim and all the parts spaced out. I have attached a file with everything already positioned in the exact same way that I printed it. but I have also include the thumb and the sliding mechanism.
This took me around an hour to print and weighs about 20g.
Post Printing:
I tried printing the thumb already attached to the sliding mechanism but I found it was always too unstable and as a result, I had a couple failed prints. Instead, I printed everything spaced out and glued the thumb on to the top of the smallest cylinder with some strong adhesive.
I remixed this. I got the thumb from a model of a hand which you can find on Printables here. I also got the sliding mechanism from a print-in-place extendable baton which you can find here.
I put this together on tinkerCAD. This has also been posted on my Thingiverse and on AnkerMake Make It Real.
I hope you enjoy printing and using this and find it just as funny and ridiculous as I did.
Happy printing!
