I observed that the probe was pretty slippery if you wanted to hold it by pinching while getting it level on a surface or near something on surface. Wanted to make some kind of extra handle to improve user experience and adding a possibility to add some kind of extension adapter if wanting to measure radiation near ground and not needing to bend over all the time.
- Hole which joins handle to the clip is 4,25mm in diameter in CAD, so M4 bolt should do it.
- Handle had M10x25 thread on the end of it if extension is wanted.
- Handle's M10 thread has been modified for more clearance. Both thread faces are pulled by -0,2mm and the thread's level face by -0,1mm
- I didn't dare to test flexibility of the clip which I printed out from PETG, so I just slid the probe into the clip from the end.
- Clip lock is just a friction fit clamp which squeezes the clip more shut. Clip lock is pushed on from the end. In my experience it is enough.
- I used fuzzy skin on the handle and modifiers for infill. 15% for the handle wide part and 70% for the handle's connecting part.
EDIT: I also added M30 threaded version of the handle if M8 feels too brittle
