A simple casing to protect and cover up the solder joints of three cables that are joined together in a Y-split configuration. Since I wanted strain relief on the cables, and cables have different diameters, I created a model in OpenSCAD and configured it for the OpenSCAD customizer.
The STL file in the “Files” section is therefore an example. For an Y-splitter casing that is adjusted for your particular cables, you will want to download the OpenSCAD source and change the settings.
The two shells are screwed together with three self-tapping screws. The dimensions of these screws can be adjusted with the OpenSCAD customizer too. Because these are self-tappers, I recommend 4 perimeters.
