I wouldn't turn over my keys to service personnel or valets to keep, and when turning over the key fob, they would tape the ID tag to the fob. I devised a non-operational key that clicks into the remote fob like the real key.
My Hyundai is a 2018 Sonata Limited with keyless entry; this key should work for the same fob style.
