A compact, customizable silverware insert for narrow drawers. This particular design fits perfectly in the drawer of a friend's Escape 19 RV trailer and precisely secures their silverware set.

The design was very simple to draw up. I started by drawing the width of the drawer on a piece of paper and then experimented with the best layout for all the utensils. The drawer was pretty narrow so I went with the most compact layout I could find. I then roughly sketched the outline of each item to get the spacing down and copied the geometry into the CAD. From there it was simple to make a horizontal cutout to grab utensils and fillets to round out some corners.

This insert is exactly 6" wide, but if you want to make your own custom insert it's easy to do by following the process above! The source file for my design is in Onshape:

Side note: model dimensions are 6" x 9.25" (234.95 x 152.4 mm) so this fits nicely on a Mk3/4. It is JUST barely printable on an Ender 3. For any smaller printers you'd definitely need to slice it up.
