This was made for a LM2596 LM2596S step down converter for a servo motor to step down from 24V DC on my EREC filament cutter.
uses two M2.5 heatset inserts with two M2.5 x 4 screws to mount the converter. The lid can be installed by installing two M2.5 heatset inserts and screws, or you can use M3 screws to go through the body of the box to mount to extrusion or whatever else you want to mount it to.
