My employer recently changed to Solidworks. I created this concept 30 mm arcade button as a learning exercise.
This button includes an orthoplanar spring to increase the stiffness on top of spring force of whatever keyswitch you install. Square cutout is 14 x 14 mm and should be suitable for any normal cherry mx equivalent keyswitch. This is printable but will require supports. I hope to return to this soon and improve the thread.
I've used many other CAD packages including inventor, solid edge, ProE/Creo/Wildfire, and Fusion 360. This is my very first model with Solidworks. This is not perfect but I need to get back to work!
