V6 Mount for Mini Stealthburner
Features
- E3D V6 style mount in 2 parts.
- Available in both normal mount & fan-saver mount type.
- Easily holds together using screws (and heat insert nuts)
Important Note:
Please be informed that due to the length of V6 hotends, this mount is slightly longer than dragon mounts.
Assembly Instruction
Print Instruction:
- Support not required for both part (support already inbuilt in mount_1, no support required for mount_2)
- Required to adjust orientation before print (sorry)
- Recommended print setting:
- ABS / PETG
- 40% infill
- Wall count: 3
- Top / Bottom later: Minimum 4
Parts Required:
- [Printed Part] mount_1 x 1
- [Printed Part] mount_2 x 1
- Heat Insert Nut (M3 x 4 x 5, similar to Voron's spec) x 2
- M3 x 18 BHCS Screw x 2
Assembly
- Remove the 2 support parts from mount_1.
- Insert 2 heat insert nuts into mount_2.
- Grab your V6 hotend, clip it between the mount_1 and mount_2.
- Secure the M3 x 18 screw from mount_1 side.
- Install the hotend into mini stealthburner, and you're done!
Note: CAD file is available, feel free to mod it to your need.
Update 13 April 2024: Updated distance between support and mount_1, originally it is too tight that it fused together .
