My wife's dog had to be put down last month due to an unexplained illness. I made an outdoor memorial lithophane using a solar led spotlight. We plan on putting it where we will spreading the ashes.

Print instructions

Category: Outdoor & Garden Print Settings

Printer Brand: MK3

Printer: Prusa i3

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: .2

Infill: 15

Filament: ESun ePC Black
Notes:

It's best if you print the holder in a dark non-translucent material that can withstand being outside. I would also recommend that the lithophane be printed in the same fashion. PETG should hold up pretty well.

How I Designed This

I used http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ to make my lithophane. The model settings that I used are as follows...
Max Size 150mm
Thickness 2.5mm
Border 3mm
Thinnest Layer .08mm
Make sure that you download the "Outer Curve" version.

I will have to apologize. I can't remember exactly which light this is. I know that I bought it last fall. I believe that it's this one but not entirely sure. I'm fairly sure that it's this one
https://www.acehardware.com/departments/lighting-and-electrical/outdoor-lighting/landscape-and-deck-lighting/3637535. This may not fit everyone's style of spotlight.
I found that the screws needed to be just a little bit longer to make a really good fit. I also added some hot glue between the holder and the inside ring of the spotlight.
