The Smart Device V2 comes preinstalled with the NZXT H510i and some other cases as well.
The new NZXT RGB & Fan Controller doesn't have the same dimensions. It comes with magnets and Velcro to mount it in the case, however I didn't like any of these solutions.
Since the case already has a nice spot and two screw holes to mount the earlier RGB controller, I figured I should use this. There is however a little window here, a hole in the case, which pretty much prevents the usage of velcro or the magnets to have the controller installed properly.
This is why I came up with this design, to securely mount the new controller.
Printing:
I used ABS to have good heat resistance, although PETG should be fine I believe.
You need some supports for the screw holes.
You'll also need two M3 screws. I used 8mm long ones.
This is used to screw the adapter onto the NZXT RGB Controller. To mount the adapter into the case you can use the original screws which were used to mount the Smart Device V2.
