This device measures the distance between the jack and the boule. This way you can see which player has come the closest. The assembly is straightforward, you only need a thick wire that stretches very little, so the measurements are more accurate. It is only necessary to tie one or more knots so that the thread is fixed to both parts of the tool. You can also use a clothes button to attach the thread to the part that is placed on the boule.
