The Qingping CGG1 is an inexpensive thermometer / hygrometer with an e-ink display and either Bluetooth or Apple Home support. It's frequently available on Amazon and AliExpress from various sellers.
It comes with an adhesive-backed mounting plate that attaches with magnets, but the adhesive doesn't work on textured walls and it allows the thermometer to rotate out of alignment.
This is an alternative mounting plate for attaching the thermometer to any surface that's approximately flat and vertical. Like the original mounting plate, it attaches to the thermometer using magnets, in this case a pair of standard 6 x 3 mm rare earth magnets which are press fit into holes in the mounting plate. It has two bosses for registration, one which fits into the button hole on the thermometer and takes the vertical load, and a second which fits in the recess for the kickstand and prevents it from rotating.
This plate can be mounted to a wall or other surface using either a pair of drywall screws or a piece of thin double-sided tape.
