This insert was designed to save space by storing my cleco pliers vertically, this also helps prevent the pliers from flailing about when the drawer is shut in a rush. This should work for most cleco pliers on the market, as it appears they all come from the same factory in Taiwan.
Confirmed works with Snap-On Sheet Metal Plier ATI508S, and ATI508SG
I haven't confirmed if this bin works with 90-degree and spring loaded cleco pliers at the moment
Files included
- Half Step will utilize a 4.5u x 1u space, using my half grid box template (21mm grid instead of 42). This allows me to make more compact units for my personal tools, and more granularity when designing/laying out my storage bins.
- The second file will utilize the standard 42mm grid and occupy a 5u x 1u space, but still sport the nifty 21mm x 21mm grid for the extra placement options.
Recommended print settings: Printer: Prusa i3 MK3S+
I use the following settings:
- 0.3 mm layer height
- 2 walls
- 15% infill (rectilinear)
- 3 top layer
- 2 bottom layer
- Arachne wall generator
