The original Trianglelab Filament Sensor bracket mount is normally attached to the frame from the top. However, I have recently added a top hat. I needed the bracket to mount to the side of the extrusion instead because the top hat is now in the way.
Printing notes:
- Model is already positioned correctly with the largest face down on the bed
- Support is needed for the 3 “tabs”
- 0.4mm nozzle (Voron PIF specs)
- 0.2mm height (Voron PIF specs)
- 40% infill height (Voron PIF specs)
- 4 walls (Voron PIF specs)
BOM:
- 2 M3x5x4 heat set inserts (typical heat set used for building vorons)
- 2 M3x8 socket head screws
- 2 hammerhead t-nuts to mount to 2020 frame
In the pictures, I'm using the “short” model for the M10 fittings: https://www.printables.com/model/367263-trianglelab-filament-sensor-bowden-mount
