Design Overview:
- Here are two versions of safety caps for LDPE squeeze bottles.
- These caps are specifically designed for these squeeze bottles, but they might work well for other similar bottles too.

Materials and Fit:
- The caps may not be completely airtight, but they fit snugly on the bottles I have.
- You can scale them slightly to accommodate different bottle sizes.
- You’ve printed the simple version in PLA, but you may choose other materials like PETG or TPU that won’t react with the contents of your squeeze bottles.
- For the version with the captured ring, I recommend printing it in PETG or TPU for added flexibility.
Intended Use:
- I use these squeeze bottles to store homemade airbrush cleaner and airbrush reducer/thinner for my acrylic paints.
- However, avoid using them for volatile solvents.
Specific Versions:
- v1 (Simple Press Fit Cap):
- Orient the model on the base or top of the cap when placing it on the print bed.
- PLA works well for this version.
- Nozzle size: 0.4mm
- Layer heights: 0.24mm or 0.12mm
- v2 (Press Fit Cap with Captured Ring):
- Print this version in PETG or TPU for better compliance.
- The captured ring design helps prevent cap loss.
