This cap covers the hole left by a light sensor once it is removed from a bollard light post. The six prongs allow for increased grip when installed, and the notches hold the cover in place.

Printing Details:

- Can be printed flat side down on any build plate, as you will most likely sand and paint prior to installation. If you don't plan on painting, use PC (polycarbonate) or ASA for improved UV and weather resistance. ASA and PC can be difficult or toxic to work with so I went with PETG.
- 0.20mm quality layer height.
- PETG for increased impact strength and some UV resistance.
- 15% infill is sufficient.

Prints in about 15 minutes at these settings on an Original Prusa MK3S.

Post processing:

I recommend sanding, cleaning with water or denatured alcohol, and then painting for increased UV protection and to match your specific color of bollard light. Isopropyl alcohol is not a very good idea for cleaning the parts, as it can damage and weaken the PETG. If you decide to use it on PETG, use a diluted 70% IPA and do your research.

Have fun and good luck!
