The design was originally intended for mounting with flat head (chamfered) #6x1" wood screws, however alternatives with solidified, enlarged bases and insets are provided to enable mounting with double-sided tape.
Note that the insets on the “tape” versions have a depth of 1mm so if the double-sided tape you use is thicker than 1mm, the adapter won't be held as secure vertically, but that won't be a structural issue, just aesthetic.
