Description
This spool adapter is designed to fit inside OVERTURE's filament spools (Ø 55.5mm).
It slides easily onto the stock filament holder (Ø 30mm) of the Creality Ender 3, ensuring smoother rotation during printing.
Printing Recommendations
Nozzle: 0.6 mm
Layer height: 0.2 mm.
Only 2 perimeters (walls).
No infill, and no supports required.
Printed in PETG. You can also test other materials.
Calibration Test
In addition to being a practical accessory, this design can serve as a print test to evaluate:
- Dimensional accuracy (e.g., outer diameter and fit on spool/rod).
- Wall adhesion and smoothness.
- Printer's extrusion consistency with thin walls.
- Printer's maximum speed, jerk and acceleration.
- Test for new filaments or new colors.
