also added a V-Roller without the need to actually use bearings, this one would ride directly on the M5 screw. 5.2mm clearance.

Having two bearings with a gap between them is not ideal as the Keybak will get caught there. IconicFAB therefore designed a spacer to limit the gap.
A better design imho is to include a V-Roller for housing both bearings and at the same time getting rid of the need to install the washer and align the assembly.
Simply put both bearings inside the V-Roller and slide the whole assembly into the slots.
The V-Roller housing will keep the right distance in a loose fit and there is no need for the washer anymore:
