NOTE: You DO NOT need to print the “MOTOR” files unless you plan to complete the Electronics Project below.

(Optional) Electronics Project to Make Your Disco Ball Spin!

Up for a challenge? Add a stepper motor and a Raspberry Pi to make your disco ball spin! All the instructions are included.

• You’ll want to print the 3 “MOTOR” parts included with the set.
• You can SKIP printing the hanging loop if you are going to add a motor
• You can find the instructions for wiring up the motor here:

Also, the code for the program is included in the instruction files. Simply change the name of the file “motor.txt” to “motor.py.”

Clone the repository with this terminal command:

git clone https://github.com/DavidMiles1925/stepper_motor_demo.git

Once you’ve got the motor set up, it’s time to install it. Follow the instructions and pictures below to finish up the project!
