Vinyl fence mount that attaches to the top of a vinyl fence and hold string lights over a patio. A standard 1 inch PVC pipe is used to get to required height. The post insert is inserted into the top of the PVC pipe, string lights strung through cutout in insert, and the post cap used to cover and hold cable in place. I did paint the PVC pipe white so I could cover up the identification printing on the pipes. I did add protrusions into model so everything is held in with pressure but epoxy could be used if you want it to be fully permanent.
I printed in 3D Fuel PCTG on my Prusa Core One without supports at .2 layer height and 25% gyroid infil with a .6 nozzle. I did use the Spectrum PCTG filament profile since using the 3D Fuel profile resulted in multiple failed prints.
Have not tried any other filements but anything that is UV resistant should work. Should only possibly need supports on the mount depending on if the filament can print overhangs well. The insert and cap can be printed as is without supports. If you have any questions about the model, just let me know in the comments.
