Take a plastic bottle and easily cut it into 9mm strips to feed into a nozzle and extrude filament. Place a standard utility blade (box cutter blade) or a #11 Exacto Blade in the slot and you're ready to start cutting up bottles! I designed the screw holes around using #8 wood screws but I'm sure you could use a variety.
My goal is to also make a drive gear for a filament spool, design a rig to hold a nozzle + hotend, and connect it to the brain of an old 3d printer to set up an automated filament winder.
For a bottle guide, a pencil fits in the bottom left screw hole, but I am planning on designing an insert to use instead.
