Printing:
Below are general recommendations and guidelines for printing.
Fits within a 200X/200Y/220Z build area ( orient 45 degrees build plate if needed )
Does not require supports if printed as designed
PLA or PETG are suitable however PETG is preferred for the housing
Print the housing solid. The smaller pieces can print normally.
Assembly:
Parts can be press fit together
Add glue if needed
Partial holes were added to help with pre-drilling if you want to screw all the moving parts together.
Assembly Order:
Press each bearing onto one side of each flap
Angle the flap into the housing so that the bearing slips into the round hole ( avoid putting the bearing into the hole designed with the handle stops )
lightly squeeze the housing to ovalize the diameter of the tube then press the other side of the flap down into the opposite hole
Align the flap so that the handle can be pressed
squeeze the handle onto the flap by pressing the rear bearing and handle together.
