Skil TS6307 Zero Clearance Insert Wall Mount

This wall mount keeps the zero-clearance insert for the SKIL TS6307-00 table saw protected and ready to use. The retaining slots secure the plate in the base, while the spring-loaded rotating latch provides additional security. Four threaded parking positions keep the insert plate screws with the plate.                              __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Assembly and Installation:

1. Install the screw-parking inserts. Heat-set four M4 threaded inserts into the parking holes in the base.    Keep each insert square and flush, then allow it to cool before threading in a screw.

2. Assemble the latch. Place the compression spring above the latch and install the M4 x 0.7 x 30 mm button head screw. Tighten only enough to retain the latch while allowing it to pull outward against the spring and rotate freely.

3. Select the mounting location. Choose a flat location with enough vertical and forward clearance to insert and remove the plate.

4. Glue base halves together.  Use cyanoacrylate (CA) or acrylic  cement to adhere the tounge-and-groove base halves together.  This is optional as the wall mount screws will suffice.

5. Secure the base. Fasten the mount through all five mounting holes using the #6 x 1/2 in screws. Use a mounting surface and fasteners appropriate for the installation.

6. Park the plate screws. Thread the four M4 screws supplied with the insert plate into the heat-set inserts along the top of the mount.

7. Store the plate. Pull the latch outward and rotate it clear. Engage the insert plate with the retaining slots, press it fully into the base, then pull and rotate the latch over the plate tab.

8. Remove the plate. Pull the latch outward and rotate it clear, pull the upper end of the plate forward, and lift it out of the retaining slots.

Use and mounting notes: Seat the plate fully before pulling and rotating the latch into place. The retaining slots provide primary support; the latch provides secondary security. Use the listed 1/2 in screws only with an appropriate wood or similar surface, and use suitable anchors or other fasteners for different wall construction.
