Cover system designed specifically for standard Nisko electrical wall switches.
INCLUDED VARIANTS:
Single Module Cutout: Centered opening sized for a standard 1-module switch.
Double Module Cutout: Centered opening sized for 2 modules.
Triple Module Cutout: Full opening sized for 3 gang modules.
Closed / Blank Cover: Fully flush plate to cleanly conceal unused or decommissioned electrical boxes.
ASSEMBLY NOTE:
The retaining hooks print separately and must be glued into the corresponding slots on the back of the cover using CA glue (super glue) or epoxy before mounting.
NOTES:
Fully Tested in PETG: All models shown in the photos were printed and real-world tested using PETG.
Optimized Clip Layer Orientation: The mounting clips are printed separately lying flat on the print bed rather than vertically as part of the frame. This aligns the extrusion paths along the length of the hook, giving the clips maximum flexural strength without the risk of shearing along layer lines when snapping onto the switch.
100% Support-Free: All internal pockets, ribbing, and bevels are geometry-optimized to print completely flat on the build plate without any support structures.
Clean Surface Finish: Designed to be printed face-down on the build plate of your choice (such as textured PEI, satin, or smooth). This ensures the front visible face adopts the texture of the sheet and conceals extrusion lines.
Integrated Reinforcement Ribs: Backside stiffening walls prevent warping and ensure the thin profile sits perfectly flat against the wall.
PRINT SETTINGS:
Material: PETG (tested and recommended for both the covers and retaining clips; PLA can also be used for the plates).
Layer Height: 0.20 mm.
Perimeters / Walls: 3 to 4.
Top / Bottom Layers: 4 / 4.
Infill: 10%.
Supports: None.
Orientation: Print the facade face-down on the bed. Print the clips flat on their side profile.
COMPATIBILITY NOTICE: Designed and measured strictly for Nisko modular switch faceplates. While Nisko boxes share general Italian 3-module wall box dimensions, outer bezel geometry and snap dimensions are proprietary to Nisko and have not been tested on Gewiss, Bticino, or other modular systems.
