I needed a 4inch kick port for my floor tom conversion. Why pay $50+ for a plastic ring when you can print one?! Ive even added a screw so it can be removed/replaced later. It took me a couple of iterations to find a light weight and strong design.
Guide printed at 0.2mm layer hight, 20% infill.
Plate printed at 0.2mm layer hight, 20% infill.
Screw printed at 0.21mm layer hight, 20% infill.
installation:
- print guide and mark out hole. Cut using sharp blade.
- print plate and push through hole
- print screw and screw onto back tightly
