I started having moisture problems with my filament so I decided to try my hand at creating a solution to drying my own filament. I did have a 70mm 12V pc fan, as well a spare 12 volt power supply. I used 3mm screws and embedded threaded insert, but screws with nuts would work as well.
Should hold a 1kg roll no problem, and can be remixed to use a larger fan if needed.
Place this over a roll of filament on your bed, pre-heat bed to 90-100, and turn the fan on to keep air circulating. Works like a charm!
