Friction-fit, compliant space-saving mount for Craftsman V20 batteries. Mounts to generic wire rack organization systems found at most big box stores. Uses a new modular design to snap to the wires.
Linked remixed model used for the actual battery mount, all other parts are original.
Print with minimal infill for the top and no infill for the bottom battery mount. Be sure to print both top and bottom pieces vertically for the best layer strength.
Assemble by inserting the 3 wire feet into the corresponding holes in the top, then snap the top into place on your wire rack. The battery holder can then be slid onto the underside of the top piece. Once in place, insert the pin into the hole on the topside of the battery holder to prevent it from sliding off of the mount. Depending on the tolerances of your printer, you may need to shave off the tip of the pin - it's a fairly tight friction fit.
