Many mounts for 5" touchscreens have already been designed. This design however also includes a front piece for the display, such that the ugly edges aren't visible. I use a DFrobot 5" display, but I believe the PITFT 50 is the same.
How to use
- There are 8 screw locations. Screw in two at the center top location of the display. They should be in about 50% and will be used to slide-lock into the mount
- Attach the skirt mount to your printer
- Place the display inside the cover and use the locks A and B to secure
- Connect the dsi cable to the display and through the hole in the skirt
- Slide the display onto the skirt bracket. You might have to adjust the screw a bit.
- Screw in the two center bottom screws.
