I use my iPhone to record my videos and ideally I'd be able to hook up an external mic, monitor, and SSD all at the same time. This wasn't possible with lightning but now that the iPhone 15 Pros have USB-C I figured I'd use a hub to make this piece of gear and make shooting video so much easier for myself. Any ideas are welcome.
Should I make a build video showing how to put it all together?
Parts needed:
- (3x): ¼-20 Threaded Inserts
- (15x): M2x6mm countersunk screws
- 6x for each side plate
- 3x to attach the front grip to the front plate
- (2x): M3x30mm button cap screws
- (8x): M3x6mm button cap screws
- (1x): iPad Pro USB Hub
- (1x): USB-C Short Cable
- (1x): USB-C U-Shape Adapter
- (2x) USB-C Right Angle Adapters
- (1x): Samsung T7 SSD
