I used 4x M3 thread inserts with 4mm diameter and 4mm length. I put them into place with a soldering iron heated to ~250°C.
As screws I used 4x M3x8mm countersunk head.
The housing was printed with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.25mm layer height with transparent PLA, but other configurations should work without issues as well. I just recommend to print both parts in parallel, as the little counterpart in the bottom part might become to hot and unstable during the print otherwise.
