The Ignorant ADXL holder bracket is designed to hold an ADXL PCB the easiest and fastest way and can be attached externally on your 3D printer's hotend through two M3 holes with 15mm interaxis. Feel free to ask for a different interaxis, I will add the version you need asap.
I attached the Ignorant ADXL holder bracket on an SP-5 Diamond Mount, I suggest this mount for anyone using a TwoTrees SP-3 or SP-5 3D printer. The mount has a well designed internal ADXL casing, but it needs a deep disassembling in order to add or replace the ADXL PCB, hence the need of this Ignorant ADXL holder bracket.
You will need:
- 2x countersunk M3 screws to attach the bracket, lenght depends on your mount design;
- 2x standard M3 exagonal nuts for the PCB;
- 2x countersunk M3x12 screws for the PCB.*
- 1x ignorance (or more).
*I used countersunk screws to prevent the ADXL circuit from touching the screws and for better fastening of the PCB itself, but button head or socket ones will work as well.
I printed my adapters in FDM with the following parameters:
- Material: Azurefilm ABS
- Nozzle: 0.6 Slice Engineering vanadium nozzle
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Extrusion width: 0.6mm;
- Build plate: 100°C naked steel bed
- Adhesion: Dimafix stick.
Notes:
- Please just avoid PLA, PET-G and other materials not suitable for high temperatures.
