GEN2 Decor - Faceplates - Chevron Series

The GEN2 Chevron Series is a collection of drawer faceplates for the GEN2 Decor Series. Print the drawer bodies, slide a chevron faceplate into place, and lock it with the optional printed clip.

The GEN2 Chevron Series is a collection of drawer faceplates for the GEN2 Decor Series. Print the drawer bodies, then snap a chevron faceplate onto the front.

The pattern does not stop at the drawer. Every plate is mirrored about its own centerline and phase anchored, so the 45 degree chevron runs straight through the seams, side by side and stacked, in any mix of widths and heights. One drawer looks sharp. A full wall reads as one continuous piece of furniture.

Built for multicolor. The chevron face is made of separate diagonal strips, so every strip is its own part in the slicer and can take its own filament color. Two tone accent or stripe by stripe, same model either way.

18 SIZES - EVERY GEN2 DECOR DRAWER SIZE THERE IS
Widths: 1W 87 mm / 2W 175 mm / 3W 263 mm / 4W 351 mm
Heights: 0.5H 27 mm / 1H 55 mm / 1.5H 83 mm / 2H 111 mm / 3H 167 mm
Total depth 6.2 mm (4.2 mm backer plus 2 mm chevron face)
3W-3H and 4W-3H are not included because those drawer sizes do not exist in GEN2.

Handles attach to the front of this faceplate - find them all HERE. This series is handle mount only; the single centered knob version has been retired, and the earlier files are still on this page in the LEGACY folders.

• M3x6 screws - only if you are fitting a handle, 2 per handle - I prefer this kit
• Decor Faceplate Clip - printed, optional, in the Hardware folder. Locks the faceplate to v2602 or later Decor Drawers as an alternative to an M3 screw
• Back Covers - optional, included in every size folder, for v2602 or later Decor Drawers
• M3 screw and nut - optional, only needed on older pre-v2602 Decor Drawers with a closed front

INSTRUCTIONS

• On v2602 or later Decor Drawers the faceplate snaps onto the front rails and holds firmly, no screw needed
• Optional: add the printed Decor Faceplate Clip to lock it in place
• Handles bolt onto the front with two M3x6 screws
• On older pre-v2602 Decor Drawers with a closed front, use the optional M3 screw and nut instead
• Fully backwards compatible with all GEN2 Decor Drawers

Slicing Tutorials

Every size ships with a ready to slice 3MF: face down, already split to parts, backer on one extruder and the chevron strips on the other, printer profile embedded. 1W and 2W projects are set up for the Prusa CORE One MMU3 with a 0.4 nozzle, 3W and 4W for the Prusa XL 5T. Swap the printer profile if yours is different.

Starting from the STL instead? It imports as one solid color. Right click the object, choose "Split > To parts", and each chevron strip becomes its own part you can assign a color to. This works in PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio and similar.

Print orientation: the STL is oriented face down with the chevron on the build plate. Print it that way for a clean textured finish off a structured sheet, or flip it face up. No supports are needed either way.
