this test shows how fast your filament and nozzle are capable of printing.
You can see my results in the attached photos. I compared the following nozzles:
- Prusa CHT High Flow
- Prusa ObXidian CHT High Flow
- Prusa Adapter + Standard E3D Nozzle
- Prusa Adapter + China CHT Hardened Steel Nozzle
For the test, I used PLA from Spectrum. This filament is excellent at indicating too low a temperature, as it becomes matte when not heated properly.
The PRUSA ObXidian CHT HF nozzle won the test.
And in the following places, in order, were the nozzles:
- The PRUSA ObXidian CHT HF nozzle won the test.
- Prusa CHT High Flow
- Prusa Adapter + Standard E3D Nozzle
- Prusa Adapter + China CHT Hardened Steel Nozzle
As you can see, even a temperature of 260°C might be too low for the Chinese nozzle and cheap filament.
