Normal single pin test probes are difficult to fix at DIL Ics which are soldered in. These 14 to 40 pin probe are mounted on an IC and give excellent access to measuring with an oscilloscope or a logic analyzer.
As visible on the pictures, you need two clip halves, a holding frame and optionally a spring (0.5*7*12mm, and 0.5*7*19mm for the wide clips). The wire to be inserted was from an electrical cable (NYMJ-3*1.5); this is stiff enough for the purpose.
Printing: you should place the clips vertically.

Depending on the quality of the print the half cylinder of the clip (holding the spring) might need removal of overhang with a sharp knife, see picture.
