Moon Semi-Sphere for FORSÅ Lamp (IKEA)
Bring the beauty of the Moon into your space with this custom semi-sphere designed for the FORSÅ Lamp from IKEA. Using the detailed 3D model provided by NASA (Earth's Moon 3D Model).
Features:
- Custom Fit: Designed with a brim around the cutting plane (D119mm) to snugly fit into the lamp.
- Click-in Place: A perimeter notch reduces stiffness, making it easy to click into place.
- Lighting Effect: Dims the LED light slightly. Depending on your filament choice, the light may appear yellowish (not strictly moon-like).
Printing Notes:
- Printer: Printed on an Ender3 V2 Neo (FDM).
- Support Material: Significant internal supports are required during printing.
- Surface Details: Some areas appear darker due to additional layers in those spots.
- Outer Layers: Two outer layers.
Only use with an led lightbulb, as with other lightbulbs it will soften due to heat bildup.
While the model might not be perfectly clean due to the tools at hand, it gives you a small feeling of power to hold the moon in your hand.
