My two hobbies are 3D Printing and RC Car Racing. i wanted to combine the two in useful ways.
I have been working on a "universal" minimalist mount for transponder.. and here is what I ended up with..
this design may change slightly to accomade more fitments in the future
Works on 1/10 Scale; and 1/12 Scale Confirmed fitment with MyLaps and MRT transponders.. (snug fit depending on tollerances)
tested and confirmed fitment on:
Tamiya TT02
Xpress XQ3S
Losi Nascar
Kyosho Fazer MK2
TT02: replace bumper screws with longer screws
XQ3S: snug fit over body posts, you can add body clips for piece of mind but not needed.
Losi Nascar: use 3mm screws and tap into top two holes on bumper bracket.
Kyosho Fazer MK2: use 3mm screws and tap into top two holes on bumper bracket.
(COMING SOON) 2016 X-Ray: fit over front body posts. use body clips to hold down
standard 0.2 printing profile, i preffer 4 walls, 3 top,3 bottom, 5% infill gyroid
