A rotating cylinder for estimating the angle of repose of sands, soils, clays, and powders in general. It is designed for manual rotation.

The object was designed to COMPARE 3 types of sand with each other; in fact, it consists of 3 cylindrical chambers measuring 200x16 mm, separated by 2 mm thick glass plates (210x2 mm; 3 discs). In addition you need:

8 Bolts M3x65 or M3x60 (for rotating cylinders)

4 Steel ball bearings 8x19x6mm (for supporting base)

The individual chambers are filled through a threaded hole with an 8 mm diameter (I have prepared a small funnel for (partial) filling of the individual chambers). The hole is closed with a plastic screw (caution when screwing it in for the first time, as it is necessary to force it a little and there is a risk of breaking the screw: proceed slowly, going back and forth).

The print profile also includes a cylindrical box for storing the glass discs if the device is disassembled (max 5 discs 210*2 mm).
