Need to pass a bunch of cables cleanly through a wall?
FlushMount is a 3D printable, multi-part cable pass-thru designed to sandwich drywall or panel walls with a clean, functional finish. Perfect for networking setups, home labs, server racks — or in my case, a server closet that just happens to be... a bathroom:
🔧 Features
- Two threaded halves for wall thickness adjustment (miniumum of 3.75" Wall Thickness)
- Recessed gasket seat for flexible TPU Petal Grommet
- Optional screw mounting holes (just punch through!)
- Printable drill template for easy alignment
🧩 About the TPU Grommet
The petal-style gasket is printed in flexible TPU. Its triangular slits fold out of the way as cables pass through.
Note: I recommend gluing the gasket in place with CA glue, as the press-fit alone may pop out when feeding cables.
🛠 Installation Notes
- Uses a 3" hole saw (or cut by hand with a plunge tool)
- Drill template helps mark your hole + optional screw points
- Outer flanges provide a clean finish on both sides
- Thread is coarse for easy printing with minimal overhangs
🔄 Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Nozzle: 0.4mm
- Perimeters: 3
- Infill: 15%, Adaptive Cubic (or your favorite)
- Material: PLA or PETG is fine — I used ASA; other materials may fit more loosely
