Shift interlock latch lever replacing original part 924-706 68088259AB. If your mid-2000's Chrysler/Dodge cannot be shifted out of park (P), this part may be the problem.
A replacement part can be found at your online retailer of choice for around $8 USD. This model was just a fun little project to see if I could replicate the part from measurements and pictures. This model appears very similar to the original part but it has not been tested by the designer (because the designer didn't want to take his car apart again).
Printing:
- Supports required
- Print upside down to avoid supports inside the cylinder
- Use a material suitable for car interior temperatures (avoid PLA)
Note: There is a spring needed for this part to function. If you do not have the original spring, you may be better off just ordering the inexpensive replacement part (e.g., https://a.co/d/hFdH4S6) that comes with a replacement spring.
