This is a replacement case for the CPS solenoid magnet.  The original case seems to not last so I created one to encapsulate the magnets.

When designing this I tried a normal pause function in PrusaSlicer but I had issues with the infill adhesion after I inserted the magnets.  So, I created a spacer to place on top of the magnets during the pause.  I found this solution to be much more reliable.

The pause is at layer 152 or 30.2mm from the bottom.  Also the magnet cutout dimensions are 36.4mm OD, 18mm ID, and 26.2mm deep, including the space for the 2mm Spacer part.  So, if your magnets are a different size you may need to modify the scale.

NOTE: I did add an extra perimeter and used the poor man's MMU for the pause.  This is because I found it removes the oozing issues from the standard pause.

The filament I used was Prusament PETG Prusa Orange

CHANGE LOG

2/8/2026 - Added a version 2 that lowered the magnets by 2mm so the pause will need to be adjusted to 28.2mm.   This change is due to an older solenoid valve that version 1 did not work with.

6/16/2026 - Added a version 3 that uses 5 donut magnets from Amazon. The Pause has moved to layer 147 or 29.4mm for the spacer.  Non Affiliate Link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085T6B8M6
