This is a case for a panel "precision" millivoltmeter which is used to measure the voltage drop across a resistor that has to be measured.

The constant current source is powered by 12V supplied by a barrel jack. You can choose another voltage but it might not be high enough for the current source to "push" its 100mA through the load (the resistor to be measured). This problem arises with larger resistances.

Since the current through the resistor is / should be 100mA, you have to multiply the reading by 10 to get the resistance in ohms.

I got inspired by this video: https://youtu.be/ReHFli7gAq4

Instructions for the electrical part are available in the video.

If you want to build a significantly better version of this, watch this video series: https://youtu.be/anE0jDeBuxo

I bought my meter from here, the factory calibration seemed to be decent: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mini-Digital-0-36inch-LED-Display-5-Bits-DC-0-33-000V-Voltmeter-Panel-Volt-Voltage/32898586722.html

If you build this project and want to give me something back in return, I'd be extremely happy to see a post under "Makes"! :)
