In the description the maker described tolerance issues, so I took the files into TinkerCAD and did a little remix. I hate gluing parts, so I remixed the box to 2 parts - the box and an end cap that snap fits, you still can glue it. This design eliminates the gear left stl ”plug", just print the original rod and knob.
The only improvement I can think to add is making the boxes stackable.
