IKEA KLOCKIS Magnetic Rotating Wall Mount
This model is a magnetic, rotating wall mount for the IKEA KLOCKIS (clock, timer, alarm clock and thermometer), designed for clean wall mounting while keeping all functions accessible.
The KLOCKIS housing is a remix based on the 45-degree KLOCKIS stand by user "Mesut Yılmaz". Only the top part of the original model was reused and adapted for this wall mount.
The wall mount consists of three parts: the KLOCKIS housing, the holder, and the pin.
All parts are already oriented correctly for printing and can be sliced and printed as uploaded.
The holder features a recessed area on the back for double-sided mounting tape (tested with https://www.tesa.com/en/consumer/tesa-powerbond-double-sided-mounting-tape-ultra-strong.html), cutouts for 10×2 mm magnets on the wall-facing side, and a front recess where the pin is glued in place using super glue.
A total of 8 magnets (10×2 mm) are required: four in the housing and four in the holder. In my prints, the magnets were held securely by friction alone. If the fit is loose on your printer, they can also be fixed in place with a small amount of super glue. When installing the magnets, make sure the polarity matches, so the housing and holder attract each other correctly.
The pin acts as a pivot point. Once glued into the holder, the KLOCKIS housing rotates smoothly around it, allowing the display to be aligned as needed.
