Take your dart training to the next level! This Precision Segment Trainer is designed to help players master specific sections of the board by isolating a single segment.
Whether you are practicing your Triple 20s, working on your doubles, or aiming for consistent 19s, this frame provides a clear physical and visual boundary. By blocking out the surrounding distractions, it helps improve your focus, accuracy, and muscle memory.
The model features four integrated pin holes (eyelets) so you can easily secure it to any standard sisal dartboard using standard map pins or spare dart points.
Key Benefits
Enhanced Focus: Visual isolation of your target.
Versatile: Can be moved to any segment (20, 19, 18, etc.).
Easy Setup: Pins securely into the board without damaging the sisal.
Technical Specifications & Print Settings
To ensure the frame is durable enough to withstand occasional stray dart hits, please use the following settings:
Material: PETG (Recommended for its flexibility and impact resistance)
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Perimeters: 7 (This is important!)
Infill: 0%
Note: By using 7 perimeters, the model becomes essentially solid. This provides maximum strength to survive dart impacts while maintaining a clean finish.
Supports: No supports needed.
Recommended Training Drill
The "30 Darts" Challenge (Focus & Consistency)
Setup: Place the frame over your target segment (e.g., 20).
Goal: Throw 30 darts at the isolated area.
Scoring:
1 point for hitting the Single segment within the frame.
2 points for the Double.
3 points for the Triple.
Why: This builds muscle memory and helps you maintain focus on a restricted visual field. Challange yourself and try to beat your previous score.
