V6 Engine Improved Base

An improved version of the base provided with the original model. The base features a raised platform compared to the original, which allows the crankshaft to be hand-turned, without the need to use a motor. (i printed a 4.8mm diameter cylinder to insert in the crankshaft hole so i can comfortably turn it). A lip is printed for the base to attach to, then the lip is glued on to the bottom of the engine block, and the base friction-fits onto the lip. This allows for the model to be fully enclosed, but still allowing internal access when necessary. (I used lithium grease on parts of the engine to make it run smoother and quieter, don't mind the messy job)

Any rigid filament

0.4mm nozzle

0.2mm layer height

10-15% gyroid infill

4 walls (arachne highly recommended)

4 top shells

4 bottom shells

No supports
